Very often, organizations need to create documents with check boxes and fill-in-the-blanks that need be completed by customers, vendors or everyday users. Forcing people to print these documents, fill them out, and scan them back in can be a frustrating process for everyone involved.
The FormTyper® tool is a powerful feature of Nuance Power PDF that lets you quickly create fillable fields within a PDF file where users can type data, check a box, or select a radio button. You can even save the entire blank form for later use, which isn’t possible with other PDF solutions.
Simply click on the “FormTyper” button. Nuance Power PDF uses powerful logical forms recognition technology to discover all of the individual form fields in your original document for you.
Create a fillable form
- Open any PDF that looks like a form. It can be one that you scanned from paper or was created from a program like Microsoft Word
- On the Forms menu ribbon click the “FormTyper” button
- The logical forms recognition technology discovers all of the individual form fields in your original document
- Select a location to save the PDF form once it has been created
